Enterprise Architecture

Challenges:

  • We are only competing with price; we need to be ahead of the curve again
  • Our customers’ needs, wishes and expectations are changing faster than our product or services
  • How do we manage our application portfolio in order to face business challenges?

Enterprise Architecture is about modelling, analyzing and defining a framework for successful development and implementation of the business strategy.

Even though this work is focused on a detailed technical architecture in a traditional way, a greater effect can be achieved when the work is focused on discovering future business models, understand the customers' requirements and consider the forces and trends that affect your business.

To execute a business strategy requires a set of business capabilities. Once done, the application portfolio can be managed in a way that creates efficiency or supports the innovations that are required to be able to cope with quick change.
