Ambea offers services for daily activities and housing support for people with acquired or congenital disabilities and currently has about 26,000 employees.
Ambea's old core business system Soft was not perceived to offer the flexibility and functionality needed to support the goals for business and growth. An important goal was to provide clear and easy-to-use interfaces when developing the new system, as all staff at Ambea is using the system and they all have mixed levels of computer expertise.
byBrick Development has carried out several projects with Ambea: a brand new application called smaRT, a revamped Intranet SeväRT and Office 365 migration.
The SmaRT application is a system for managing agreements with municipalities and district committees, as well as generating invoices based on the various frameworks. SmaRT also supports other processes such as scheduling, managing patient notes, activities, individual action plans and others. The team is involved in the end to end delivery of the solution: from architecture and design to project management, development, testing and deployment as well as technical support.
byBrick Development was also involved in the delivery of an intranet solution and migration to Office 365.
Thanks to the cooperation with byBrick in different areas, Ambea has achieved its goal of reducing administration time for users, enabling them to do more productive and meaningful work. The collaboration with byBrick has been a key component that helped enable growth and business expansion for Ambea.
